The Pacific Crest Trail is a footpath that extends for 2700 miles beginning on the Mexican border near the village of Campo, California and terminating on the Canadian border north of Stevens Pass, Washington.   From the sweeping deserts of southern California to the towering granite walls of the High Sierra, to the snow-clad volcanic peaks of the Cascades, the diversity and grandeur of the country it traverses is almost indescribable.  Click on any of the thumbnails to the left to enlarge.  Below each image will be information on the photograph and where it was taken.  So I hope you are well-rested and properly supplied, it is time to begin hiking north - from southern California to the northern terminus of the trail on the border of Washington and British Columbia!
