Sky Lakes Wilderness, Oregon (#PC0016)
Congratulations! You have made the great trek over the length of the state of California and have now entered Oregon. Forests of fir and hemlock surround pristine lakes in the aptly named Sky Lakes Wilderness. For forty miles the P.C.T. follows the spine of the Cascades through the Rogue River and Winewa National Forests. This area, just south of Crater Lake National Park, contains a number of basins with more than 200 lakes and ponds.
