Forester Pass, California (#PC0009)
From the junction of the High Sierra Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail, the P.C.T. makes a long, steady climb though beautiful open country to Forester Pass. This pass lies on the boundary between Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and, at 13,400 feet, is the highest point along the entire Pacific Crest Trail.
